Britney Spears gets cozy with manager Cade Huson, says she’s taking Sam Asghari divorce ‘one day at a time’

Britney Spears got cozy with her manager, Cade Hudson, as she opened up about her uneasy divorce from Sam Asghari.

In a lengthy Instagram post early Saturday morning, the “Toxic” singer shared some snaps of her longtime friend leaning in towards her, appearing to nearly kiss her on the cheek.

“I’m in such a beautiful location !!! l’m so lucky to have amazing friends !!! Positive affirmations are important to me at the moment !!!” she captioned the post.

Spears, 41, then spoke about how painful it was to reflect on her past for her forthcoming memoir, “The Woman In Me,” while ending her third marriage.

“I say this because I’m going through a divorce and having to reflect my past in a book was … let’s just say not easy !!!” she continued. “I’m just saying !!! But I take one day at a time learning to breathe !!! Self love is so unbelievably important !!! I woke up and just cried because I felt grateful to be in such a beautiful place !!!”

Spears and Hudson — who formerly worked as an agent at the Creative Arts Agency — have been longtime friends. He began working as the singer’s manager in 2022 after her former manager of 25 years, Larry Rudolph, quit the gig the year prior.

Most recently, the pals enjoyed a tropical vacation together in Mexico in March as breakup rumors with Asghari started to heat up.

During the trip, Spears was seen dancing with Hudson while wearing a bikini — sans her wedding ring.

Nearly five months later, the model, 29, filed for divorce from the pop star, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Spears’ candid post with Hudson came days after she sparked concern while dancing with two sharp butcher knives.

Although the Grammy winner later edited her caption to include that the knives were “NOT real,” the following day she was seen with a cut on her thigh and a bandage wrapped around her arm.

Spears doubled down on her statements about the knives being fake on Tuesday, insisting that she was “copying Shakira,” referencing the Colombian singer’s MTV VMAs performance earlier this month.

However, Page Six confirmed that the local authorities were called to perform a wellness check on the “Gimme More” singer at her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home.

“Somebody close to Britney had seen the video posted on social media, where she’s dancing and twirling with knives in her hands, and they were really concerned for her mental well-being,” Captain Dean Worthy of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told us Thursday.

The public information officer confirmed that the individual who made the call wanted to remain anonymous and had a relationship with Spears.

Following the wellness check, the mom of two spoke out, denying that the knives were real for a third time.

“I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA,” she wrote on Instagram Thursday night alongside another knife-wielding dancing video.

“These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by !!!”

Spears concluded, “Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼!”
