Doja Cat says she looked like a ‘wrinkly penis’ after she shaved her head

Doja Cat’s big beauty transformation shocked everyone — even herself.

In her new Dazed cover story, the “Woman” singer opened up about shaving her head and eyebrows this summer, recalling she initially thought her buzzed dome resembled a “wrinkly penis.”

“I looked like I had an exposed brain,” the 27-year-old Grammy winner added.

It didn’t help that the big chop left some on social media concerned about the star’s mental state.

“[They were] like, ‘Oh, this can’t possibly be her simply having fun. She has to be out of her mind. She has to be cuckoo,'” Doja recalled.

Despite the mixed reception — even the star’s own friends and family tried to talk her out of shaving off her locks, she added — Doja’s now fully on board with being bald.

“I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life, which is very strange,” she said.

“I felt beautiful when I had long hair. I definitely felt like a hot girl then, but I always do. There’s something so exhilarating about change; (it) showed me a different side of myself. I feel so new, fresh and sexy.”

Doja slammed critics of her daring ‘do in August, and didn’t mince words.

“I make hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look f—kable for you so that you can go home and jerk your c—ks all day long while you live in your mothers [sic] basement,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet at the time, adding, “go f—k yourselves.”

The “Kiss Me More” songstress clearly isn’t afraid of standing up for her own version of beauty. After showing off a series of wild makeup looks during Paris Fashion Week this season, she clapped back at a hater who tweeted she looked “ugly” and “like a tired old statue.”

“I wasn’t trying to look sexy or attractive,” she replied. “All of my makeup has a story and there are absolutely 0 rules and if there were you wouldn’t be the one making them.”

She echoed the sentiment in her Dazed interview, saying, “Now, to me, beauty is going against it. I love when you take something that is maybe classically beautiful and twist it and make it your own.”
